This is an original 1889 black and white in-text wood engraving of the room in which Joseph Mallord William Turner (1775-1851) died. Turner was a Romantic landscape painter, watercolorist, and printmaker. He was born in England and is known as "the painter of light." Many consider his artwork to be the preface to the art movement known as Impressionism.
