This is an original 1891 half-page print article about the Edison Electric Percussion and Rotary Rock Drills, manufactured by the Edison General Electrical Company, New York City. This article also features an image of the two styles of electric drills at work. Their working capacity is claimed to be very high, with the expenditure of the minimum amount of power. The great advantage which they afford in the mining districts is that they can be worked at distances from the dynamo as great as three miles.
