This is an original 1891 one-page print article "Rock-blasting by Electric Firing" with four halftone illustrations of the machine and methods employed in the electric system of rock-blasting; manufactured by James Macbeth and Company, 128 Maiden Lane, New York. Fig. 1 shows the holes connected in series. Fig. 2 shows the Victor Electric fuses for exploding all grades of blasting powder and high explosives. Fig. 3 shows a machine testing the battery. Fig. 4 shows the standard electric fuse and blast tester.
