This is an original 1893 black and white halftone print of a man searching for the beach that it was believed Christopher Columbus to have first landed. Green's Harbor on Watling's Island was where Samuel E. Morison once wrote that The Nina, Pinta and Santa Maria first landed in the New World, but since it has been renamed San Salvador.
