1895 Steel Engraving Portrait W. C. Williams Milwaukee Attorney Ripon HWC1

This is an original 1895 black and white steel engraving of a portrait of Darien, Walworth County, Wisconsin native, W. C. Williams, who was the attorney of Milwaukee in 1880. Williams graduated from Ripon College and was since affiliated with the Milwaukee law firms of Carpenter and Murphey; Butler and Winkler, Williams and Merrill; Butler, Williams and Butler; Williams and Elliott; and Williams and May. Williams was also a noteworthy member of the Fraternal Order of Knights of Pythias in the state of Wisconsin.
