This is an original 1896 black and white halftone print of the house in the Russian town of Tilsit where Queen Luise of Prussia met Napoleon Bonaparte near the end of the War of the Fourth Coalition, which resulted in the destruction of the Prussian army and a huge victory for France over the Allied Coalition of Russia, Prussia, Saxony, and Sweden.
