This is an original 1897 black and white wood engraving of Miss Lavinia Brounjones packing for her sketching expedition in the Scottish Highlands. The Brounjones series was one of the only Keene ever had published in Punch, which effectively illustrated his method of crafting a story. The original piece was featured in the British magazine in 1866.
