"Peter Rudolph Neff"
This is an original 1900 black and white halftone print of a portrait of philanthropist and American civil war veteran, Col. Peter Rudolph Neff. During the US Civil War, Neff was elected Colonel of a detachment of Ohio Volunteers in the Union Army known as the "Cincinnati Rifles" or "Pearl Street Rifles". He was also a founder of the Cincinnati College of Music in 1878, and served as president of the school during the Victorian era.
