This is an original 1901 black and white halftone print of English poet and writer William Wordsworth of the Romantic movement. In the late 18th century he moved to the Lake District of Cumbria, England with other prominent writers Coleridge and Southey and would become part of the English Lake Poets.
The Literary Association of the English Lakes or the English Lake Poets were a collection poets and writers who lived in the picturesque Lake District of England in the 19th and 20th centuries. They were associated based simply on their subject matter, being inspired by the Lake District, and by their residence to that region of England. Notable scribes from this association were William Wordsworth, Samuel Taylor Coleridge, and Dorothy Wordsworth.
