This is an original 1901 halftone print of The Brunswick Monument in Geneva, Switzerland. It was built as a memorial/mausoleum for German nobleman, Charles II d'Este-Guelph, Duke of Brunswick, in 1877, by the city of Geneva at his request,when he left the city all his money. The money he left to the city was used to build the golden gates of Parc des Bastions and the city's opera, the Grand Theatre.
