1901 Print Harvard Lampoon University Coxswain Debate Team Crimson C.C HVD1

This is an original 1901 halftone print from the Harvard Lampoon entitled "The Candidate is Always with Us." It features a variety of roles which a hopeful student could fill, such as manager, Crimson writer, advocate, debater, coxswain, even writer for the Lampoon! The student artist, C.C. Hackett, included the year of his expected graduation (1903) because his initials in the bottom right.

This 110+ year old Item is rated Near Mint / Very Fine. Light aging throughout. No creases. Original mailing center crease. No surface rub. No tears. No water damage. Please note that there is print on the verso. The paper along the crease line is extremely delicate and thin in some places due to the original insertion process; it also holds the original staple marks.
