This is an original 1903 halftone print of the columns of the Mars Temple, included in the Forum of Augustus of Rome, Italy (Italia). The temple was built to commemorate Mars, the god of war, in 42 BC.

This item is from a limited edition collection of important historical prints produced in 1903. The edition size produced at that time was out of 1,000 and this collection of prints was numbered 870. The edition and number are not present on the individual item but rather was provided for the collection as a whole.
