This is an original 1903 black and white halftone print of the Windsor Arcade, the Windsor Trust Company and the Steinway Piano Hall, located on the east side of Fifth Avenue, from 46th Street to the cathedral at 50th Street (the spire of which is visible on the far left). After the fall of the Windsor Hotel in 1899, the property (owned by the family of Elbridge T. Gerry) was vacant until the building of the Windsor Arcade.
