This is a rare original two page 1905 color print ad for the Hotel Arcadia of Santa Monica, California. The ad writes, "For many years Santa Monica has been the most popular of California seaside resorts. All this is easily understood, for to go swimming in this pleasant surf, to fish from the fine pleasure wharf, to dream upon the moonlit beach with the air moving gently to the music of the surf, to drive among the wooded canyons on the mountains, must be to a dweller inland a frolic among Elysian fields."
