This is an original 1905 black and white halftone print which depicts several hardened fishermen standing with their boats along the shore at Etretat, in northern France. It was along this same stretch of coastline that artist Claude Monet painted some of his finest masterpieces, while staying at the Hôtel Blanquet nearby.
