This is an original 1905 black and white halftone print of the famous Hôtel Frascati in Le Havre, France. It was originally designed as a strategic military facility, located near the beach to enable a clear line of fire towards any incoming enemies. Although the entire building was damaged in a fire during 1900, it struggled along for the next half a decade, eventually closing its doors in 1906.
