This is an original 1905 halftone print of the cloisters at the historic Barcelona Cathedral in Spain, also referred to as the Cathedral of the Holy Cross and Saint Eulalia. This image featured photography by Luis Carroggio.

Interesting Note: During Roman times, the co-patron saint of the Barcelona Cathedral is said to have been stripped naked in the city's public square, though her nudity was concealed by a mid-spring snow. Outraged, the Romans stuffed Eulalia into a barrel that had been penetrated by knives and rolled her down the street, which was supposedly that of Baixada de Santa Eulàlia.
