This is an original 1906 black and white halftone print of the Tarr (Torr) Steps in Hawkridge which is a small village in Somerset, England. It is near to the center of Exmoor National Park and the border with Devon. Hawkridge is part of the civil parish of Withypool and Hawkridge. The Tarr Steps are a prehistoric clapper bridge that runs across the River Barle. Photography by C.W. Barnes Ward.
