This is an original 1906 black and white halftone print of Tawstock Court in the village of Barnstaple in the county of Devon, England. This town was known for being a very successful wool exporter from its port in the Middle Ages. The Tudor mansion of Tawstock Court no longer exists except for the gatehouse.
