This is an original 1906 halftone print of the marketplace and the Nieuwe Kerk, or New Church, of Delft, South Holland, Netherlands (Nederland). Delft is known for its canals, and for producing the painter Vermeer. The Nieuwe Kerk is a Protestant church originally built in the 15th century. It was formerly known as the church of St. Ursula, and holds the burial sites of the princes of Orange. The city hall can be seen at the left of the image, which was designed in the Renaissance style by Dutch architect Hendrick de Keyser.
