This is an original 1906 halftone print of some of the landscape architecture featured at Elias Jackson "Lucky" Baldwin's Santa Anita Ranch in Arcadia, San Gabriel Valley, California. Baldwin was a lucrative miner, businessman and horse breeder, who owned around 63,000 acres of land near Arcadia and Monrovia. Baldwin is most well-known for his founding of the Thoroughbred racetrack Santa Anita Park, which was located on his estate.
