This is an original 1907 black and white halftone print of the chair or throne of Saint Mark. This throne is said to have been used by Saint Mark, the patron saint of Venice, Italy, when he lived in Alexandria, Egypt. The throne now part of the collection of the Museum of Saint Mark's Basilica (Basilica di San Marco) in Venice, Italy. It is believed that it is from the 6th century AD.
