This is an original 1907 black and white halftone print of the Palazzo Santa Sofia with its Ca' d'Oro (Golden House) facade which is located on the Grand Canal in Venice, Italy. This palace is famous for its gilt decorations on the front of it. The Contarini family built this palace from 1428 to 1430. This family is known for providing Venice with eight Doges (rulers) between 1043 and 1676.
