This is a small original 1908 black and white print ad for Hotel Albert located at 11th Street and University Place, New York City. This hotel started as the Hotel St. Stephen in 1875 until it was expanded and changed names to the Hotel Albert in the mid 1890s. For decades it hosted many famous politicians, musicians and writers. The 70's sex, drugs and rock and roll period they proved to be too much for this hotel and it was changed into residential use.
