This is an original 1908 color print of the Neo-Renaissance and Dresden Baroque architecture of the Semperoper opera house, (also the Sächsische Staatsoper Dresden, Sächsische Staatskapelle Dresden), that is located near the Elbe River in the city center of Dresden, Germany, Europe. Most of the original theater building was destroyed by fire in 1869 and was later rebuilt in 1878 by architect Gottfried Semper (1803-1879) with the help of his son, Manfred Semper.
