This is an original 1908 black and white in-text wood engraving of the Theater of Herodes Atticus at the ruins of the Acropolis in Athens, Greece. The theater was built in 161 CE by Herodes Atticus in honor of his wife, Aspasia Annia Regilia and was a venue for music concerts with a capacity of 5,000.
