This is an original 1911 black and white halftone print of "Main Corridor of the National Preparatory School, Mexico City." The National Preparatory School in Mexico City is the oldest senior high school system in Mexico. The institution was originally located in the historic center of Mexico City in San Ildefonso College. Prior to housing the School, the structure was considered the birthplace of the Mexican muralism movement. The building now houses a museum and cultural center run jointly by the National Council for Culture and Arts and the National Autonomous University of Mexico.
