This is an original 1911 halftone print of the T. A. Ranch on Crazy Woman Creek in Johnson County, Wyoming. Historians are unsure as to where the name of the creek came from, but the area was originally a trading post and the site of American Indian War battles. The caption writes, "Where the invading 'army' of cattlemen and hired gun-fighters were besieged by the so-called 'Rustlers' force."
