This is an original 1912 print of two etchings by Frank Brangwyn: "The Beggar Musician" (1911) and "The Cloister of the Cathedral, Cahors" (1911). Each image measures 4 x 5.25 inches. Period Period is pleased to offer a group of prints produced directly from the original etchings of Frank Brangwyn. These prints were produced by the The Fine Art Society, Ltd. of London in 1912 in a bound portfolio format which captures the amazing breath and depth of the work of this talented artist. Frank Brangwyn

Sir Frank William Brangwyn (1867-1956) was a talented Welsh artist, painter, muralist, engraver and illustrator. During World War I Brangwyn designed a number of war posters. In addition to his commercial poster art, he illustrated a number of books, created illustrations for many American magazines, and painted some very well-known murals. He produced many works in watercolor and hundreds of etchings.
