This is an original 1912 black and white halftone print of a portrait of French operatic bass-baritone Jean-Émile Diogène Marcoux, better known as Vanni Marcoux (1877-1962). He is considered one of the most well-known singers of the 20th century, and he performed at the Royal Opera House in London, the Paris Opera in France, La Scala in Milan, Italy, the Boston Opera Company, and the Chicago Grand Opera Company during his career.
