This is an original 1914 black and white halftone print of "The Houses of Parliment, From the Fisher Bastion." The Hungarian Parliament Building is one of the oldest legislative buildings in Europe. A noted Gothic Revival landmark in Budapest, the building is in Lajos Kossuth Square along the bank of the River Danube. The structure houses the National Assembly of Hungary and is currently the largest building in Hungary.

In the foreground of the image is a statue of John Hunyadi, nicknamed "The White Knight." Hunyadi is an outstanding and iconic figure of European military history and the preeminent tactician of the 15th century in all of Christendom.
