This is an original 1914 black and white halftone print of "Antwerp; The Quays and Cathedral." In the distance of this early twentieth century image is the tower of the Cathedral of Our Lady, a Gothic style Roman Catholic cathedral. The sole completed spire of the Cathedral has historically noted for it's beauty and grandeur; it is also the tallest church tower in the Benelux (a customs union comprised of Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg).
