This is an original 1914 black and white halftone print of "Ghent; The Belfry and the Cathedral of Saint Bavou." Captured in this early twentieth century image is the picturesque town of Ghent, Belgium, the skyline of which is dominated by the Saint Bavo Cathedral, consecrated in 942 (right) and the Belfry of Ghent, one of three medieval towers overlooking the historic city center (center).
