This is an original 1914 black and white halftone print of a depiction of the Suovetaurilia otherwise known by the Roman cultures as the Ambarvalia carved into ruins in Rome. This was the practice of sacrificing a pig, ram and cow to the gods (particularly Aeries and Ceres) after walking them around the city three time.
