This is an original 1915 halftone print of Gustave Stahl, the English submarine B-5, and English officers wearing strange looking masks. The caption for the latter reads, "Because they are forced to patrol the trenches, are are rarely undercover, English officers wear these strange appearing, dun-colored masks and cloaks. At the distance of a very few feet these make the wearers absolutely invisible at night."
