This is an original 1917 black and white halftone print of a tapestry-point floor carpet which was made for the House of the Farmer at the Royal residence of Aranjuez. The textile in this print was produced at the Royal Tapestry Factory in Madrid, Spain. This factory has been producing tapestries since 1720 when it was founded by King Philip V.
