This is an original 1917 black and white halftone print of a tapestry that was designed after artist Francisco de Goya's "The Hawseller." The tapestry in this print was woven by Don Livinio Stuik Vandergoten in 1786 at the Royal Tapestry Factory in Madrid, Spain. This factory has been producing tapestries since 1720 when it was founded by King Philip V.
