This is an original 1917 black and white halftone print of a tapestry entitled "The Promenade," after a cartoon designed by artist Francisco de Goya. This textile in this print was woven by Don Antonio Puñadas in 1788 at the Royal Tapestry Factory in Madrid, Spain. This factory has been producing tapestries since 1720 when it was founded by King Philip V.
