This is an original 1918 halftone print of the Sognefjord, the largest fjord of Norway, located in Sogn og Fjordane county. Three of Norway's stave churches have survived near the Sognefjord, the Kaupanger and Umes, which are both located along the shoreline, and Borgund, located 19 miles into the valley.
