This is an original 1920 color print of a bulb farm in the springtime in the Netherlands. The flowers that are growing are probably Tulips. At one point during the Dutch Golden Age, the Dutch were infected with "Tulip Mania" and used tulip bulbs like currency. Bulbs fetched higher and higher prices until the market collapsed. At the height of the mania, a single bulb sold for more than 10 times what an skilled craftsman made in a year.
