This is an original 1920 World War I sepia rotogravure of a wounded German soldier being lifted on to a stretcher by the 28th Infantry dressing station. The second image shows the Yank and Poilus stationed before a breached wall, watching enemy shell fire. The final image shows prisoners captured at Cantigny marching through Le Mesnil-St.Firmin.
