This is an original 1920 World War I sepia rotogravure of a First Officers' Training Camp at Plattsburg, as well as Major Theodore Roosevelt leading a company of officer candidates to mess. The final image shows student military officers at Fort Myer Training Camp, who are learning the use of bayonet warfare.
