This is an original 1920 World War I sepia rotogravure of men of the 168th Infantry, 42nd Division after they captured a machin gun nest during the advance to the Vesle; Men pictured include Corporal B. F. Harbour, Sergeant John Leeskuil, Private C. Reynolds and Corporal H. S. Gallagher. The second image shows military personnel loading an injured soldier onto a train via a stretcher. The third image shows the chefs aboard a U. S. hospital train. The last image shows doctors performing shrapnel removal surgery.
