This is an original 1922 sepia rotogravure of Belgrade (Beograd), Serbia (Republika Srbija). and a marketplace in Sarajevo of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Sarajevo was the location where the first world war was sparked after the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his wife, Sophie. King Alexander I of Yugoslavia was the first king of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia, and the last king of the Kingdom of Serbs; he served from 1921 to 1934.
