This is an original 1923 halftone print of an imaginative effort to depict an Egyptian royal funeral in the eighteenth dynasty. The long procession bearing the objects to be buried with the imperial mummy on his journey to the Valley of the Kings. It is thought that the final burial scene would be kept a secret to all but a few to ensure the Pharaoh's three- thousand year sleep of death.
