This is an original 1924 halftone print featuring an image of Nelson Powell Hulst, a geologist, mining engineer, and a leader in the development of the Menomonee Iron Range. Hulst discovered and developed the six principal mines in Michigan , and also the Florence mine in Wisconsin.
