1924 Print Jersey City Moving Platform Seating Engineering New York Shuttle SCA5

This is an original 1924 black and white halftone print of the moving platform, erected for a demonstration in Jersey City. The platform was to take the place of the present shuttle service on 42nd Street in New York, and would raise the seating capacity from 4,400 to 35,640 seats per hour.
