1925 Print Catalog Tableaux-Maximes Robert 57 Rue Louis-Blanc Rule French VENA2

This is an original 1925 six-page color print catalog (three double-sided pages, with one measuring at approximately 5" by 8") for unique Tableaux-Maximes by Robert & Cie. Each sign featured a particular cautionary saying or helpful piece of advice to help any business run more smoothly, with such favorites as "Soyez bref, vos minutes sont aussi précieuses que les nôtres" ("Be brief, your minutes are just as precious as ours") and Du haut en bas de l'échelle sociale, l'exemple est la plus belle forme de l'autorité" ("From the top to the bottom of the social ladder, leading by example is the best form of authority").

The additional insert includes a variety of child-friendly versions, such as "Respecte la parole donnée, même dans les moindres actes" ("Respect a given word, even in the smallest acts") and "Dis-toi toujours avant d'agir:-Qu'en penserait maman?" ("Before you act, always ask yourself:-What would mother think?").

Please note that there are purple stamps on the front of the catalog and its smaller insert that list Murice Dupuy & Cie as being the successors of Robert & Cie.
