This is an original 1928 black and white print ad for the sale of Holmwood at Lenox in the Berkshires. Holmwood, formerly the Erskine estate before it was torn down, was built by Margaret Vanderbilt. Later, presumably around the late 1930s, the Foxhollow School for Girls was moved into the estate.
