This is an original 1928 black and white print ad for the shipyard services of the Todd Dry Dock Engineering & Repair Corporation of 23rd Street, Brooklyn, New York, NY during the Roaring Twenties era. The ad also features a photograph of the steel-hulled MY Hi-Esmaro civilian yacht that was built by the Bath Iron Works of Maine (ME). The ship was purchased by the US Navy in October 1940 and converted to a coastal minelayer at the New York Naval Yard, and renamed the USS Niagara (CMc-2). She was later reclassified as a patrol gunboat (PG-52) in November 1940 during World War II (WWII).
